We are now offering a variety of BG maintenance services at Scofield Automotive. BG is a company that manufactures high quality chemical cleaners and additives that are very useful for improving the gas mileage, performance, and longevity of your vehicle.

Here is a list of some of the BG services we provide:

• EPR (Engine Performance Restoration) Service; Think of it as a boosted oil change. This service uses a high power, heat activated detergent to clean carbon deposits from the internals of the engine so they can be drained out with the engine oil. A friction reducing additive is then added to the new oil to protect the engine. This service most often includes an effective BG fuel injector cleaner which is added to the fuel tank.

• BG Power Steering Flush; This service uses a cleaning detergent to clean deposits from the internals of the power steering system, then the fluid is exchanged with high quality BG Power Steering Fluid, which contains friction reducing additives to prolong the life of the power steering system components.

• BG Induction Cleaning Service; This service cleans gum deposits and carbon buildup from the intake manifold, intake valves, and the inside of the cylinders. This service is especially needed for GDI engines.
